Welcome to my Blog! This is where I play, explore and share whatever is inspiring me at the moment. Photography is, for me, an ever expanding landscape with endless possibilities - where I not only get to express my creative vision, but also get to meet some truly wonderful people. I'm a playful and creative shooter - I like to keep things moving, explore unlikely places, and capture moments as they unfold naturally. My business has become the perfect compliment to the most important things in my life, which begin with two stars-in-my-eyes kids, a wonderful supportive family, and the best friends any girl on the planet could ever ask for...oh yeah, and our wacky lovable bulldog, Bruto! Renee + Steve...with a suprise ending

This was a wedding from this past summer, and was one of my all time favorites. There were so many images I loved from this wedding, as well as it being held at one of my very favorite venues, TerraBella.
Renee and Steve were such a fun, easygoing couple - everything just flowed like perfection at this lovely morning wedding amongst the flowers and foliage. But what made it really special was the ending - which was a surprise to absolutely everyone - family, friends....even the wedding party (the only exceptions were myself and the Best Man).
At the end of the reception the bride and groom invited everyone to follow them out the gate...and across the street and up the embankment. The confusion and uncertainty on the guests faces was priceless - but they trusted their leaders and fearlessly climbed and hiked about 1/4 mile down the road (having no idea why, as the musicians continued to play as they walked).
At the end of the little journey was a tiny boat....they kicked off their shoes, raised the sail, and launched down the river. You could just feel how it left everyone touched, and a little breathless. Hope sails.

  1. I think you should have a little bit more of a variety in terms of the people whom you photograph. Try adding some African Americans, Asians, Hispanics, etc. to your collection. Also, maybe you could experiment with weddings in different cultures from different parts of the world. They are beautiful photos--just very white.

  2. I am THRILLED to photograph any and all races/cultures....I don't however get to choose who comes to me and decides to choose me as their photographer :)....I would love nothing more than to bop all over the world and photograph all kinds of weddings!
