Welcome to my Blog! This is where I play, explore and share whatever is inspiring me at the moment. Photography is, for me, an ever expanding landscape with endless possibilities - where I not only get to express my creative vision, but also get to meet some truly wonderful people. I'm a playful and creative shooter - I like to keep things moving, explore unlikely places, and capture moments as they unfold naturally. My business has become the perfect compliment to the most important things in my life, which begin with two stars-in-my-eyes kids, a wonderful supportive family, and the best friends any girl on the planet could ever ask for...oh yeah, and our wacky lovable bulldog, Bruto! Marianne & Jason

Sometimes you meet people that just immediately strike you on a deeper level - and you walk away feeling so grateful for doing what you love and having it be the the avenue by which those chance meetings occur. Marianne and Jason were were just that. And for reasons too complicated to go into on this post, I am especially happy that I got to be the one to capture their pregnancy on film.
Marianne is an incredibly talented designer and photographer, and I loved how she had decorated Finley's room in orange and blue.
Even though we didn't end up having the lovely golden evening light we were hoping for, we had fun getting ice-cream and meandering along Greenlake - and they were very patient with all my ladder climbing and furniture moving....!!
Baby Finley has since been born, and his birth was captured so beautifully by photographer Kristi Lloyd.

  1. I travel across your blog from Deb.. I visit your site often and love seeing your work.. I have searched all over trying to figure out how to make my images on my blog large like the ones you have on yours. I too have a blogspot account and just can not seem to figure out how to do it.. I love the WOW factor of large images and would very much appreciate any information you could give me..
    Thank you so much,
