Talk about a fairytale wedding......Lauren and Mae were married in a castle on a bluff in one of the most quintessentially picturesque east coast towns I have ever seen. After a day of soaking up Boston, we headed north, spent the afternoon cruising the waterways, then feasted on succulent lobster as the sun went down (wow - I was extremely well fed the entire time!).
The wedding party stayed in a beautiful hundred plus year old home (conveniently across the street from a Dunkin' Donuts, which I found out was the area's answer to a Starbucks on every corner). The castle was simply breathtaking. Really, what can I say. Sitting perched above the ocean on a bluff, it really was quite magnificent, and a bit surreal to say the least.
I absolutely loved every minute of this wedding - and if ever there was a group of people who really know how to love, this was it. I was incredibly blessed to be a part of it. It was a very traditional Jewish ceremony, with every detail imbued with love - including the handmade chuppa.
A special note needs to be made regarding the entertainment - the Della Porta Brothers of General Sound Entertainment are unlike anything I have ever seen at a reception. Not only are they incredible DJ's, but Todd is a born entertainer, and has a beautiful voice. They are, simply, the absolute best (I LOVED these guys!!).
