Washington: Michele M. Waite
Michele is, well, just simply the BEST. Not only is she an incredibly talented award-winning photographer and artist, but she is professional, warm, and a complete joy to work with.


Kristi Lloyd(Birth Documentaries)
Kristi does the most beautiful birth documentaries I have seen so far - if you are considering doing this, give her a call. You will never ever regret it. The images you'll come away with are absolutely amazing - I get all choked up watching her slideshows....


Oregon: Sherri Diteman
Truly one of the most artistic eyes in the business - she is amazing, both as a photographer and a human being. She got me started shooting weddings, and I still aspire to reach her level.

Jena Murray
Jena not only runs a successful photography studio, but is also the owner of Lush Couture Albums - the most beautiful heirloom wedding albums available anywhere (they are my personal favorites). She is as talented as she is kind, fun and professional.

Favorite Venues

Terra Bella Weddings
This is possibly my favorite venue.....it was formerly Larkspur Farms, and has the coolest outbuildings, beautiful old home (was the original Pastor's house for the fabulous old church that makes for a perfect backdrop across the fields!), and simply spectacular grounds. There are so many details that just make for a feast for the eyes, and Carolyn & Loren will make you feel right at home.

Grand Willow
Owner Connie Weech offers a beautifully renovated huge old estate in Mt. Vernon for both indoor and outdoor weddings. Surrounded by gardens spilling over with flowers, and huge, dripping willow trees, this is a lovely picturesque place to have your special day. And they take care of everything!

Juntunen Gardens
This is a truly beautiful spot - over 50 acres of lovely gardens, a farmhouse, and lots of gorgeous details!

At The Quarry
A really unique place near La Conner, which was once a rock quarry but has since been transformed by artist Joseph Kinnebrew into a lush visual experience. Art meets nature among water, unique species of plants, and sculptures scattered throughout.

Maple Hall
Right by the water in La Conner, just down from one of my favorite old churches in the area (Sacred Heart), is Maple Hall, a great choice
for receptions.

La Conner Flats
Another beautiful outdoor garden option just outside of La Conner.

Semiahmoo
North of Bellingham, this resort is a shoe-in for a flawless wedding experience. Check out their site to be wowed!

Lane Fernando & The Angels of Sin (Live Music)
Lane and his Band put on one of the very best live shows around - absolutely guaranteed to get everyone out on the dance floor. He doesn't rely on the same old formula, he puts on a professional show that's worth every penny, every time.


Martin Iverson (DJ)
Martin is a great DJ - and really wonderful and easy to work with - he knows how to keep the party hoppin!

Tin Cantina (Traveling Cantina)
This is one of the COOLEST ideas....a 1965 vintage Airstream trailer that you can rent - complete with bartender and drink menu for parties or receptions, or as the very coolest little hideaway for the bride or groom to prepare pre-wedding in. I LOVE this idea, and Deanna Wohlgemuth is one groovy chick.
